We are so excited to call Peacock Hill our new home and look forward to getting to know you all and becoming a part of this community. With this move Cody has finally been able to return to what he knows and loves, living and working with horses and we are so thrilled to have the unique opportunity to raise our girl ranchy in the city and surrounded by amazing animals.

Cody grew up ranching and cowboying in Idaho and Wyoming. He then took those skills and his love of adventure and the outdoors and started a career being what Tina refers to as a “Professional Fun Haver”. He was a backcountry snowmobile guide in Yellowstone National Park, mushed Dogs in Jackson, Wyoming and then moved to the Torrey, Utah and the mouth of Capital Reef National Park where he began an outfitting and outdoor adventure business specializing in backcountry horse pack trips. 

Cody also started his own horse breeding program in an effort to create the perfect mountain horse. He ran that business happily roaming the wilds of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Wyoming with a herd of 45 horses until he met Tina on a ski trip in Park City, Utah…

Tina is a documentary filmmaker and TV Producer and was living in Venice Beach. Tina and Cody got married in the horse pasture in Torrey and managed to keep both of their lifestyles and businesses alive commuting between Utah and California until they had their daughter Isa and they decided to plant the whole family, full time, in California. 

Tina:  It took us six years and lots of wishing and dreaming to find Peacock Hill, but we are finally here and couldn’t be happier about it. And perhaps the luckiest of all with this move (besides Isa) are our pups Boz (the German wirehair, AKA the Professor) and Wyatt (the yellow lab AKA Blonde Ambition). And Isa finally got to get the kitten, Poppy, she has been longing for “her whole life” now that there is enough space for everybody…
