Peacock  Hill Ranch

Where horses run free in pasture by day then eat and rest in private stalls and paddocks

April showers bring May flowers and what a pretty way to head into summer. Of course, it’s the month of Cinco de Mayo (the 5th), Mother’s Day (the 12th) and Memorial Day (the 27th).  Among the many holidays and observances are Star Wars Day (May 4th), V-E Day (Victory in Europe Day 1945—the 8th), National Devil’s Food Cake Day (the 19th) and Sunscreen Protection Day (the 27th).  It’s also Asian American Month, National Barbecue Month and Young Achievers of Tomorrow Month, to name just a few.  And let's not forget Be Kind to Animals Week, May 5th-11th.
In the spirit of Talk Like Yoda Day (the 21st), “Trails happy.”

All Disciplines Welcome!

We welcome all disciplines of rider from Western to English (and everyone else in between).  In our large, beautifully lit arena, we've held clinics, group lessons, playdays and a dressage schooling show.  We even play horseball!  Comfort and fun are the priorities.

This video was shot in the Hansen Dam Reservoir on Big Tujunga Creek. It is dedicated to Royan Herman, all my friends at Peacock Hill Ranch, and Corral 20. Many thanks to Jim Ford and Richard Green for their beautiful work. And to the star, Kitty, who did it all for a bucket of grain and some carrots.

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of Solitaire. It is a grand passion."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Creature Comforts are our Priority

Sure, we specialize in horses, but we roll out the welcome mat for all kinds of critters.  Peacock Hill Inc. helps re-home abused, abandoned and BLM horses.  Please inquire if you are interested in adopting a horse.
