Peacock  Hill Ranch

Where horses run free in pasture by day then eat and rest in private stalls and paddocks

Hello February!  We've made it through the first month!  This month is more than Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day and the Super Bowl.  It's also Black History Month, celebrates the Lunar New Year on the 10th—Year of the Dragon, commemorates the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and it’s a Leap Year.  Among the many special days are National Thank a Mail Carrier Day (the 4th), Fat Tuesday (the 13th), National Chili Day (the 22nd) and International Polar Bear Day (the 27th).  And let's not forget American Heart, National Library Lover's and Spay/Neuter Awareness Month to name just a few.  New month, new mindset, new focus...and chocolate!

All Disciplines Welcome!

We welcome all disciplines of rider from Western to English (and everyone else in between).  In our large, beautifully lit arena, we've held clinics, group lessons, playdays and a dressage schooling show.  We even play horseball!  Comfort and fun are the priorities.

This video was shot in the Hansen Dam Reservoir on Big Tujunga Creek. It is dedicated to Royan Herman, all my friends at Peacock Hill Ranch, and Corral 20. Many thanks to Jim Ford and Richard Green for their beautiful work. And to the star, Kitty, who did it all for a bucket of grain and some carrots.

“February is the shortest month, so if you’re having a miserable month, try to schedule it for February."
~ Lemony Snicket

Creature Comforts are our Priority

Sure, we specialize in horses, but we roll out the welcome mat for all kinds of critters.  Peacock Hill Inc. helps re-home abused, abandoned and BLM horses.  Please inquire if you are interested in adopting a horse.
